Hey friends, I’m Mimi. I consider myself to be a fabulous dog Mum and I am very passionate about animals and advocacy for animal welfare. I am also a graduate student, a fan of genuine people and I have a strong spiritual foundation pertaining to how I live my life. Additionally, I am a total nerd, I like to write (also fantastic at procrastination) and some of my guilty pleasures include Downton Abbey, Chinese noodles and anything that sparkles.
On February 12, 2012 my little boy left me for Rainbow Bridge. Sebastian was the love of my life and was essentially my only family for the past seventeen years; we have been through everything together. I wanted to create a blog, so that others could feel supported while grieving the loss of a family pet. While this blog was created to honor my little Saby, I will also be writing about Dolly, my Miniature Dachshund whom I rescued in 2011, and just life in general.
